Media and Photography

  • Official event photographers and videographers may capture content for promotional purposes.

  • Attendees who do not wish to appear in photographs or video should inform the organisers in advance.

  • Personal photography and recording are permitted for non-commercial purposes but must respect others’ privacy and consent.

 

Consequences of Misconduct

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Removal from the conference without refund

The decision of the organisers will be final.

Refunds and Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all bookings for Elevate Ed Global conferences and events organised by Fig Tree International Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing a ticket or registering for an event, you agree to this Refunds and Cancellations Policy.

Event Registration and Payment

  • All registrations for Elevate Ed Global conferences or other Fig Tree International Ltd events are subject to availability.

  • Fees must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Once registered, your booking is personal to you and cannot be transferred without our written consent.

1. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection laws.

If you purchase your ticket online, by phone, or by email, you may also have a right to cancel your booking under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This right generally allows for a 14-day “cooling-off period” from the date of purchase. However, if the event takes place within that 14-day period, or if you agree for us to begin providing services immediately, you waive your cooling-off rights.

 

2. Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds will only be considered if the request is received within 30 calendar days of the date of purchase.

  • No refunds will be issued after the 30-day period, except in the circumstances described in Section 3 below.

  • All refunds will be made to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

 

3. Event Cancellation or Significant Change

You are entitled to a full refund if:

  • The event is cancelled by us; or

  • The event is rescheduled and you are unable to attend the new date; or

  • The event location is changed to a significantly different venue, making attendance unreasonable for you.

Refunds under this section will be processed in full, regardless of the 30-day limit.

 

4. Transfers and Substitutions

If you are unable to attend the event:

  • You may nominate a substitute attendee at no extra cost, provided you notify us in writing at least 7 days before the event.

  • In some cases, you may be able to transfer your booking to a future event at our discretion.

 

5. Non-Refundable Items

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Partial attendance or failure to attend without notice

  • Travel, accommodation, or other personal costs associated with attending the event

  • Optional extras purchased after the original booking (unless the event is cancelled)
